Taking Care of Business

divide

Enjoy some rest and relaxation with your group.

For generations, its fresh air, spectacular scenery and outstanding service have made New Hampshire the ideal destination for professional gatherings and productivity. Dignitaries have long gathered at the state's grand hotels, including the Mountain View Grand Resort, open since 1865. From its expansive verandah, statesmen including Dwight Eisenhower could take in majestic views of the White Mountains and savor gourmet meals in the main dining room. Today, meeting planners can choose that very resort, or locales by the ocean, lake, forest or an historic town green.

Groups who meet in the Granite State get high-tech services with a historic ambiance - an escape without the disconnect from civilization. The Radisson Hotel Manchester, an hour north of Boston, offers 65,000 square feet of meeting and conference space for up to 2,000 people, plus on-site technical support and guestrooms with individually controlled Sleep Number beds. Yet meeting-goers merely have to venture a few steps away from the hotel to travel back in time 11,000 years. At the Millyard Museum, visitors can trace Manchester's development from a haven for native peoples who fished at Amoskeag Falls to an immigrant-rich 19th-century manufacturing hub, once home to the world's largest cotton mill. The Palace Theatre has entertained audiences since the days of Vaudeville, and continues its tradition today. At the Currier Museum of Art, visitors can view 13,000 American and European pieces, including pastoral New Hampshire paintings by artists of the Hudson River School. In the midst of all the attractions, it's sometimes easy to forget Manchester is right off the interstate and is home to the region's largest airport.

Whether your group numbers 10 or 1,000, there's a Granite State setting that’s right for your business objectives. In addition to top-tier hotels and conference centers, New Hampshire offers: historical venues, ski resorts, scenic trains and cruises, historic mansions and rustic retreats. What's more, hometown hospitality comes with every corporate package.
